There’s a quote that’s been floating around social media for years that makes me laugh every time I see it.
“Right or wrong, make a decision. The road is paved with flat squirrels who didn’t.”
How many times have you said that you’re going to do something important, then keep putting it off? Sometimes, until it’s too late.
Whether it’s pursuing an advance degree, investing to grow your business, taking your dream vacation or signing up to coach your child’s sports team, putting it off is a decision not to do it. That’s right, you made a decision. But, is it the one you meant to make?
The hardest part about change is starting. If it’s important, take ten minutes to map out your plan to get there. Once you start doing this, the plan will flow. Before you know it, you have a list of steps that will make it happen. Then, take the first step.
